Day 1: Along the Quadalvivir River

# The history of the Torre Del Oro

This beautiful tower dating from the thirteenth century is an emblematic monument located along the Alfonso XIII Canal or previously called "Quadalvivir River". It served as an observation tower and gold storage, hence its name "Torre Del Oro ". Seville Torre Del Oro Torre Del Oro The visit of the small museum of the navy is interesting with beautiful models of boats. The tower enjoys a beautiful view of Seville from the top of its 36m. View from the top of the Tower of Gold View of the Tower of Gold I advise you to visit this tower if possible like me on a Monday because it's free 😉! Otherwise you will have to pay 3 € / person. Admission is a bit pricey for the duration of the tour (which does not require a reservation). Then, I advise you to walk and follow the river to the Triana district.

# The Triana district

This area is famous for its lively covered market " El mercado de Triana". Here you will find food stalls with culinary specialties of Seville, fruits, vegetables, fish and many tapas bars really cheap. Mercado de Triana The Triana district is an authentic neighborhood very lively, festive and very pretty. it is located on the other side of the bank in relation to the torre del oro. Go after 10pm! Flamenco Seville I recommend the restaurant Casa Cuesta in the Triana district! You will find a typical Andalusian cuisine, homemade and very tasty. The price is very affordable. Count 2,90€ to 3,60€ for tapas. The portions are generous. The associations are original and very tasty. Try the fried Camembert with its raspberry coulis! A pure delight! restaurant seville restaurant seville Fried Camenbert and raspberry coulis Just for information, the bread and small aperitif cakes that are brought to you at the beginning of the meal are paid if you consume them. It's not like France. At the time, bullfighters and intellectuals came to eat at "Casa Cuesta"! This restaurant with typical Sevillian decoration is an institution.
